Description
This young lady loves everything from little bugs to any large animal or fowl you can think of, she has spotted a bird and watches it with pleasure. My approach to this painting was to capture her expression realistically as possible without making the painting look like a photograph. This was done by employing the grisaille technique where I applied warm glazes over the cool base of her skintone.
